Founded in 1829, and located in the heart of Toronto, Upper Canada College is an independent school for boys and young men, which offers a day program for Senior Kindergarten through Grade 12 and a boarding program for high school students. UCC offers a complete range of academic co-curricular choices, to encourage the emerging talents of athletes, actors, musicians, debaters, scientists and more. Graduates receive both the Ontario Diploma and the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

UCC has demonstrated its commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability through its ongoing Green School program, which aims to minimize the school’s eco-footprint. The Green School oversees several initiatives, including energy and water conservation programs, a recycling program, and educational initiatives. As part of the Green School program, UCC has switched all of its school residences, including the boarding houses and faculty and staff residences, to green electricity from Bullfrog Power.
