"Reducing our own greenhouse gas emissions is a key element of our ongoing commitment to tackle climate change and reduce our environmental impact. By choosing clean, renewable power for our Green Machines, we will reduce our carbon footprint, help clean our air quality and support the development of renewable energy."

TD Bank Financial Group
TD Bank Financial Group has made a commitment to reduce its environmental impact by supporting renewable energy sources. As a first step, they are working with Bullfrog Power and the Pembina Institute to use green power for their Green Machine network. Now, all of their Green Machines will source power from clean, emission free generation sources such as wind power and low-impact water power.
Green power is just one of the ways TD is working to improve the environment. Here are two other examples of how TD customers and employees are making a difference together.
TD Friends of the Environment Foundation – Since 1990, TD customers and employees have contributed more than $45 million in support of 17,000 grassroots environmental and wildlife projects in communities across Canada. www.fef.ca
TD Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup – Every year, TD supports the TD Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup. In 2007, more than 50,000 people volunteered for the cleanup and scrubbed nearly 1,800 km of shoreline at 1,240 different sites coast to coast.
